There are lots of ways to cut or trim your budget. Liz Pulliam Weston summed them up in her weekly article on MSN Money
She gives the usual ones like all frugal minded people do however there are a few that I don't necessarily agree with like extending your mortgage to 30 years if you have a 15 yr mortgage. And pay a ton more interest.
Some I will champion like looking around for cheaper long distance. Check out Budget Dial Communications for lower rates plus dial around plans. Also Verizon has a cheap dsl option for less than $20 a month.
Another one is meal planning! If you are a regular reader I plan my menus weekly.
Overall it sums up how to save money but nothing that most frugal folks already know.
