Wow the overwhelming winner was over $500. I thought more folks would keep money in savings accounts. That is what we do.

For me, $500 is roughly 1 week's worth of expenses, if everything is smoothed out across the month. It's too inconvenient to transfer back and forth to ING for that short a time period. With transfer times, I would barely have the money there before I would be transferring it back out.
