Cheap exercise workout ideas to keep healthy


As a  Mom, I want be healthy active and taking care of my body  to be the best mom possible for my  boys.   Exercise and working out  keep me mentally and physically sane.  I am also at risk for high blood pressure since it on both sides of my family.  Exercise can help keep that away.
Exercising doesn’t need to be really expensive but some folks will use it as an excuse.  . When confronted with the high cost of gym memberships, home exercise equipment, and personal trainers, many decide they just cannot afford the cost of getting healthy. This just isn't the case and it is possible to exercise and get healthy while spending little to no money. Cheap  exercise will take you a long way towards your weight loss goals and overall health.

Follow these frugal exercise tips to find your way into a healthy body without breaking the bank.
Search the classifieds or craigslist  or shop gargage sales  - As many people that are looking for exercise or sporting equipment, there are just about as many people wanting to sell it for pennies on the dollar.

Use what's around your house - lift weights with items like canned vegetables or a gallon of milk.
Do work around your house - Yard work can be very strenuous so get to work raking leaves.

Search online especially youtube  - There are many free videos you can find on the internet. Here is one fitness channel  http://www.youtube.com/user/BeFit. Also,  many zumba instructors will put their  zumba routines on youtube. You can create a frugal zumba playlist.  Netflix and Huluoffer some workouts as part of their membership as well.

Walk or run - Walking and running are both free. Take off around the block or head to the nearest park or trail.

Frugal exercise will help you get into shape without costing a bunch of money.   When you stay healthy, it means less trips to the doctor’s office!

Great ideas! This is the way I work out too, mostly, although my husband did buy us a treadmill a few months ago.

One more thing: If you want online support, join Fit Mommy on my blog. The meme has been going on for almost 3 years on various blogs and has helped countless moms meet fitness goals.

Sometimes it's been a huge group of women; right now it's a cozy few and with your approach you'd fit right in.

Yup! Another frugal fit mom here! Anytime I'm tempted to buy another dvd, I remind myself about the ones I already have at home.
