Frugal Meal planning week of November 3rd

First full week  of November!  Turned the heat on yesterday for the first time since it was getting chilly plus the clocks turning back.   We are wrapping up fall soccer and now starting basketball.   One of the boys got on a travel soccer team for the spring and the coach wants them to participate in an extra winter league. It cost an extra $250 for 8 games . Besides the extra  money there are probably going to be some conflicts with basketball which he already made a commitment.

I also picked up a turkey this week for 59 cents a pound.   I picked up a few this time of year to cook at certain times of the year!! I was able to stock up on some chicken broth and stuffing mixes.

Sunday burgers and french fries

Monday  Chicken legs  , broccoli and cheese  stuffed potatoes.  I got a really good deal on the chicken legs-

Tuesday  Bruschetta Chicken Bake

Wednesday  We are expecting to get another big storm not as big as Sandy but a perfect day for some  Pumpkin and sausage soup and some crusty wheat bread!

Thursday  Pasta night -if we have leftover brushcetta that will be added in!

Friday  Fish tacos and side veggies

Saturday  Homemade pizza

I love fish tacos. I really should start making them at home :)
