Frugal meal planning week of November 11th

One of our local supermarkets closed its down this weekend.  Even though it wasn't my primary place to grocery shop they often had really good loss leaders on meat that  I would stock up on.   I think competition is healthy  for business and hope that my main grocery store Stop and Shop doesn't increase in prices. There is a Shasw  in the next town over so I will start checking out some prices there.  It also leaves a large empty building in my town-nothing else is scheduled to go in there at this time.

Sunday   Hot dogs in crescent rolls with french fries  ( I know not healthy at all)

Tuesday Breakfast for dinner!  kids request

Wednesday   Cheesy Broccoli Soup and sausage   Wednesday night is going to be soup night during the fall and winter months.  Hopefully most weeks it will be homemade but occasionally will be canned soup.

Friday  Leftover layered ground turkey in burrito wraps

Saturday  We have a Thanksgiving in the woods for boy scouts late Saturday afternoon.    yeah no dinner to make!  The boys and day will camp out as well.  I will drive home and sleep in my nice comfy bed. I don't camp in the colder months.

Thank you for not making me the only one who serves hot dogs (and enjoys them) this week :) I'm making corn dog muffins.

Angela I don't mind camping in the summer but not when I need to wear thermal underwear. Luckily the campground is only about 30 min away.

Becca This is new for us this year. Hopefully we can continue it throughout the colder months.

Jenny Haha every once in a while a hot dog is NOT bad.... corn dog muffins I will need to try that out as well
