The simple things in life

The wahm bloggers network Question of the week is "How many simple things have you learned to appreciate more, for one reason or another?"
We had a health scare a year ago this month with my Dad. He had a major accident and was hospitalized for several months. In a matter of hours life changed for my family. My Dad is ok now for the most part.


However his accident made me slow down to appreciate some of the simpler things in life such as enjoying a cup of coffee on my back porch. A good night kiss from my kids. A note or an email from my hubby with our anniversary date which is code for I love you. The love from my close extended family, we had about 20 family members and friends come to the hospital to be with us that night.

Cream colored ponies and crisp apple streudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
